Putting Out Fires
Wow what a week!!!!
Wayne and I had a great weekend last week as we went off to Scarbourgough Fair.......Oh wait we did not go there we went to King Richard's Faire in Carver Ma. It is the longest running Renaissance fair in Massachusetts and has been running fun for 30 years. I had never been before and it was a blast.
It is on of those places that it is hard to tell the inmates from their keepers if you know what I mean. Those two above I believe are part of the "keepers" of the realm so to speak, while this guy down below is one of the "inmates" or visitors don't you know.
We were graced with the appearance of many stars like Mr. Depp above and I believe that is Nicholas Cage there playing with the tigers.
We also had an appearance from Russell Crow, but I was unable to get a picture of him at the joust. OK if it wasn't him it was his doppleganger and he was just as much a hit in his leather skirt as Mel Gibson was in a kilt.
All in all it was a great day filled with fun and pageantry with everyone having a great time.
Sunday was filled with football and family fun and the it was Monday and back to work again. Work was what it was this week and I have not a clue what we are going to be doing this weekend, but I am sure it will involve a camera in some shape or form. LOL Going out shooting on the weekends relaxes me......
Until the next time.... Remember I'll be keeping an eye on you. LOL
I love that you get out and do things... even new things. They'll keep you young. :D

DeleteRita, many years ago I went to a Renaissance Faire in California. Oh my goodness, it was amazing, and I had never seen anything like it. We were in street clothes, but if I ever have the opportunity to go to another faire, I'm going in a costume. What fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see you posting on Blogger.
Good Day Darbie.....I am trying. LOL
DeleteWhen I lose a hundred pounds I too shall go in costume.
Looks like so much fun. I have never been to a medieval fair, but I would love to go. Great photos, as always.
